Greek designers descend on Scoop: Celebrating heritage, craftsmanship and timeless beauty

In less than a few weeks time, contemporary fashion and lifestyle trade show, Scoop will open its doors bringing together the very best designers, fashion buyers and industry experts. Taking place from 14-16 July 2024, the show will see a calibre of Greek designers descending upon at Olympia West with a kaleidoscope of unique collections. This season's edition of Scoop, themed 'Here Comes the Sun', will showcase SS25 designs under the hopeful glow of British sunshine, with fingers crossed for Greek sun-god Helios to make an appearance. Pure London x JATC, the Festival of Fashion, will open its doors next month from 14 – 16 July 2024 at Olympia Events, showcasing a stunning variety of jewellery, from fashion and statement pieces to semi-precious stones and gold-plated designs. Harrogate Fashion Week has announced the show dates for summer

Harrogate Fashion Week's show dates for summer are 4th-6th August – three days of buying and sourcing new labels. This event has continued to grow, and the August event already has three full halls of classic and contemporary brands, with a fourth hall opening that joins seamlessly to the rest of the show, and gives a new second entrance. Now considered a major player in the fashion trade calendar with the largest collection of womenswear brands under one roof, including footwear and increasingly more accessory brands. Organisers Wendy Adams and Sarah Moody commented that Harrogate is extremely popular and loved by the buyers.

Autumn Fair and Faire partner to simplify buying for retailers

Autumn Fair, retail's leading seasonal showcase for the home, gift and fashion industries, has announced an exclusive partnership with Faire, Europe's leading wholesale marketplace.

Faire will help hundreds of exhibiting brands take orders on its platform from retailers attending the show. This collaboration will bridge online and offline wholesale for the first time in the UK and simplify the buying process for up to 20,000 independent retailers.

NOPEX takes decisive stance against ‘unwanted visitors’ attending the show

Following feedback from exhibitors that too many companies are attending shows to sell to both exhibitors and visitors without exhibiting, Natural & Organic Products Expo (NOPEX), held at ExCeL London yesterday on 14-15 April, has taken decisive action, which, according to the organisers, Diversified Communications, has led to a significantly improved event.

The presence of companies selling their services to stand holders, who have invested significant sums in attending, and setting up camp in cafes and shared areas, has become a growing problem for organisers, with increasing numbers of exhibitors stating this as a reason for not attending trade shows and others saying, they will attend as visitors instead of exhibiting.
